SM Entertainment to hold digital exhibition, S.M.ART EXHIBITION, in August

SM Entertainment will be holding an IT exhibition, the S.M.ART EXHIBITION.

S.M.ART EXHIBITION will be held from August 10th to the 19th, a total of ten days at the COEX in Seoul, Samseong-dong. SM’s premium contents will be showcased in state-of-the-art digital technology. SM and global businesses have collaborated together to present the world’s first interactive entertainment exhibition, allowing visitors to enjoy and become emotional with its various features.

Most notably, the exhibit will showcase a 3D stereoscopic theater where visitors will be able to meet SM artists in front of them. In addition, there will be holographs of live performances, with high quality production and the scale of an exhibition. Visitors will also be able to experience the 360 degree camera that was used in ‘The Matrix‘. With a large screen, visitors will be able to make video calls and meet stars, making it different from regular digital entertainment exhibits. It is expected to be a great digital experience for both domestic and overseas fans.

The exhibit will be on a world tour platform, the ‘S.M.ART EXHIBITION WORLD TOUR’, as global fans will also be able to experience the exciting digital technology.

Super Junior Kyuhyun Tweets, “This Is What Has Become of the Kyu Line”

Super Junior’s youngest member Kyuhyun, DBSK’s Changmin and SHINee’s Minho are known to have formed an assembly of flower boys affectionately called the “Kyu Line.” They were last spotted hanging out together in a photo Kyuhyun himself uploaded on this Twitter account.

Recently, Kyuhyun noted some changes in the “Kyu Line,” and tweeted a message and pictures. He said, “Suddenly, I got a message from ShimChang (DBSK’s Changmin), and it made me panic. Five minutes later, a picture from Jong Hyun (CN Blue’s Lee Jong Hyun) came and it made me stop… This is what has become of the Kyu Line. Kekeke.”

Meanwhile, Kyuhyun and the rest of Super Junior have just released “A-CHA,” the repackaged fifth album, “Mr. Simple.” Super Junior is also bound for the United States, for the one-night-only “SMTOWN Live in New York” at the Madison Square Garden on October 23 with their labelmates DBSK, f(x), SHINee and SNSD.

SM artists invited to the first Korea-Japan-China joint concert

South Korea, Japan, and China will be holding their first collaboration concert to promote unity between the three countries, and artists from SM Entertainment were invited to stand on this prestigious stage!

Kangta, Super Junior, and f(x) will represent the Korean artists, while Super Junior-M and Zhang Li Yin were invited to be part of China’s representative team.

The joint concert will also feature other heavy-hitting Chinese and Japanese artists, such as Lee Woo Chun (李宇春), Nicholas Tse (谢霆锋), EXILE, and Happiness.

The concert is scheduled to be broadcast in China on October 1st, the National Day of the People’s Republic of China.

Lee Soo Man tops the list of richest stockholders in the entertainment industry

With the K-Pop wave sweeping the world, leaders of major entertainment labels experienced a sharp increase in the worth of their stocks.

Stock analyst website Chaebul.com compiled a list of the top 8 entertainment leaders with the most expensive stocks. As of September 20th, SM Entertainment‘s Lee Soo Man ranked at the top of that list.

Lee Soo Man owns 24.43% of SM Entertainment’s stocks and recorded a total value of $165.7 million USD. YG Entertainments Yang Hyun Suk was in second place with $83.8 million USD, and Bae Yong Joon, the biggest shareholder in Key East, ranked in third with $12.1 million USD.
